Sib, — In a paragraph in your West Coast Letter in the Witness of the 13th inst. the statement is made that the result of our recent washing was considered poor. That is not true. As a matter of fact it was the most satisfactory result the company has yet obtained. Your correspondent's , figures are correct as to the yield— l64-oz lOdwfc, value £64-1 11s, but it cannot be considered as bad, seeing that the tributers have netted some £5 per man per week for the run, only 42 boxed out of "some 300 haviDg been touched, gome of our shareholders may be misled by this statement unless a correction is made'. — I am, &o , Joshua Gibsok, Manager.
