The Southland Racing Club having to continue their meeting after the close of the holidays with the weather still unsettled, there was but a poor attendance on the course to-day. Messrs Mason and Roberts put £84-7 through the totalisator, making a total of £2305 for the two days — less than would have gone through in one day had the weather been fine.
