ROXBURGH AMALGAMATED MINING AND SLUICING COMPANY (LIMITED).

The manager reports for the week ending 16th inst. as follows: — "No. 1 elevator has been running up till Wednesday morning, when I washed down and started to remove the line of boxes and ripples to the new elevator which 1 got completed, and started to open out on Saturday morning at 8 (.•'clock. No. 2 has been working all the week, except two days for repairing the rac"e and washing down. The reason the return from No. 2 was so small is because the dirt that was put through was from the top layers. I have the bottom to put through yet, which should give a good return. Washed down No. lon Wednesday : 330z lSdwt 21gr. Washed down No. 2on Saturday : 19oz lGdwt 17gr."
