HOUGH RIDGE.

July 11.—Mr George Turnbull, of the Ida Valley Flour Mills, met with a rather nasty accident on Friday evening, Sth hist. After delivering flour at the Rough Ridge Reef, Mr Turnbull was in the act of turning round his horses when a foal he had with him took fright, and ran in between the leaders and shafter, knocking down Mr Turnbull under the horses' feet. The horses moved on and walked over him, the dray wheel passing over the shoulder and neck. He was bruised a good deal about the head and legs. It was a lucky thing that the horses were not rough shod, or the case might have proved fatal. Up to time of writing, Mr Turnbull is progressing favourably.
