THE WINDSOR MURDER.

Melboubne, April 6. Nineteen witnesses, including Miss Rounsevell, were examined to-day at the Windsor murder inquest. Nothing of an important character was elicited, the evidence for the most part proving the sale by accused of the contents of a cottage at Windsor. The inquest will probably be concluded to-morrow.
London. April 5. The police consider that there is not the slightest ground for tho renewal of the stories connecting Deeming with the Wbitecbapel murders, or with any event in England between his departure in 1888 and his arrival in September 1889. Many swindles in all parts of the country have been wrongly attributed to him. The city promoters of tho great Kruger mine, in South Africa, including some from Transvaal, deny Detective Brandt's statement that Deeming was connected with the concern,
