Otago Chess Club meets fit Wain's Hotel every afternoon and on Wednesday and Saturday evenings from '7 to 11 p.m. Secretary, F. V. Siedeberg, Dunedin.

Members of the club will give a course of free instruction for three months to those desirous of learning the game. Communications addressed to the secretary will receive immediate attention.
