The Taranaki J.C Autumn meeting was held to-day in fine weather. The attendance was large. Results : — Handicap Hack Hurdle Race, of one mile and a-quarter.— Mr J. J. Russell's Flukem, 9.10, 5: Mr W. The second day's races were well attended. The weather was showery, The handicapping proved very successful, and Mr J. O. Evett, the. handioapper, was cheered. Results :—: —

Won by a short neck. Time, 2min KSJsec. Dividend, LI 11s. Autumn Handicap. One mile and a quarter.— Prestige, 8.1, 1 : Heather Bell, 6.11, 2 ; Scot Free. 8.8, 3. Also started Whisper, Krina, and St. Malo. The race was well contested. Time, 2min 12 2-ssoc. Dividend, L 3 ss. Farewell Handicap. Six furlongs. Torpedo 1, Weka 1, Fleta 3.
