We have a demand for any quantity. Hides, l|d for sound lightweights; heavy , up to 2Jd ; slippy. Id. Fat: Rough, Us 64, l-' : s 6d; reudered, 12s to 18Poultry.: Heavy supplies forward. Heos and old oocks, 2s 4d to 3s 7d ; young cooks, small 3i 3d,priu.e 3s Bd,3i lOd; ducks, £s 6d, 5s 9d ; geese. 6s 6ti ; turkeys^ 6d to 7|d. Butter s Fresn fairly plentiful ; prime sat 9d scarce. Eggs very plentiful. Cheese : Farmers', 4|d; faotory, s|d. Pige. 3Ji for best; mixed weights, 3d, 34' d. Baoon, best rolls, s§d. Hams, 7d. Ou ions, £4 to £7 Fruit: Sydney fruit very scarce. Any price is obtainable. Hobart fruit firm at last quotations. We have a prime shipment to land next Friday. The past week has been a very busy one. On Friday we held our nival produce Bale at 11. As uiual, there was a crowded attendance, with capital prices. At 12 o'clock wo offerea Mr Coxhea'd's farm at Hooper's Inlet. There was again a large attendance. After spirited bidding, it w»s knocked down to Mr David Young at a satiefaotory figure for cash. On fine same day at 2 o'clock we held a clearing sale of furniture and effects on the premises, Bussell street. Although tbe catalogue was a very lung one. we cleared every lot at satisfactory prices. On Wednesday we (ffored, on ace -iint of a MeUon client, six bales piime Nelson hops, which, not reaching the reserve, were withdrawu but afterwaids sold privately. Yesterday we offered a very valuable invoice of jewellery and watches, wheu, although there was a large attendance, bidding wni languid and many lines were withdrawn The balance hnwov.-r, was cleared by a local jeweller immediately after the sale at tho upset prices. On Friday,next We hula our weekly sa'e of p ultry and produce, when Borne flue pure stunk will be offered. On Saturday next wo hold an important clearing •ale of fruit and foreat. trees, ehrubs, implements, &c. on aooount of Meaars Gordon Hros., Anderson's Bay. Everything is to be sold Waggonettes wi'l leave our rooms for thu plaoe of sale at 12 o'clock Sharp. " Seats should ba booked at once.
