IT is proposed (if sufficient inducement offers) to erect near Dunedin ROASTING FURNACES,/along with all requisite machinery and gold-saving appliances for the due treatment of Concentrates, Pyrites, &o. An assaying office will be connected with the works, and under the charge of a Thoroughly Practical Assayer. The promoters have the promise from one mine of from one and a-half tons to two tons per week of pyrites, and wish to know from miners and others throughout New Zealand what support they would give in the way of laving concen* trates, forwarding same to works to be treated either at owner's risk or sold on assay valuation of same.
