SONG.
Stay wandering harper, the night grows chill, No moon will light tbee over the hill ; Our fire is bright, and many a guest Awaits thy coming; reit harper, rest. " I may not stay tho' the night be dark, In haste Igo to yon convent ; hark 1 I hear the *ound of a passing bell. Which comes of duty and woe to tell. There lies a sister shrouded and white ; Gone is her soul to the realms cf light ; But I most hear a requiem said, And once more bow my face o'er the dead. Then hang my harp near tbe holy door, Oh, never to wake its music more ; The gay to thy festive scenes invite, I bid thee the harper's last good night."
