Napieb, March 24. The weather was fine and warm but rather windy for the first day of the Napier Park Club's Autumn meeting. The attendance was large, and the racing on the whole excellent, and there were no accidents. £5566 were put through the machines. The attendance of the public was very large and the racing was splendid, but favourites generally had a bad time of it. £5361 was put through the machine, making £10,927 for the two days.
