SALE OF STORE SHEEP.
Meairs Wbight. Stbphsnson, and Co. report as follows :— At Outram on the 20th we held a large and successful sale of store sheep, principally crosabreda. The attendance of buyers was the greatest that baa ever bfeen seen at any aale of sheep in the Weat Taieri district, and although close upon 6000 Bheep were offered on account of Meegra M'Leod Brothers (Wardlands), George Nlchol (Abbotsford station), Alexander Douglas (Bast Taieri), and James Cunningham (Stratb-Taieri), not one-tenth of the buyers were supplied. It is almoat euperfluoug to say that very full values were paid ior every lot sold at folio wa, viz.: -Crossbred wethera (four, cix. and eight tooth), 10a 6d to lla 3d ; orotabred ewea (four and six tooth), 9a to lQa ; crossbred . ewes (full mouthed), 8s to 9s 3d ; quarterbred wethere, 9s • merino ewes (full and broken mouthed), 3a to 4a 9d. '
