Gold at Puhipuhi. Auckland, March 23,
A discovery of gold In the Alameda licensed hold Ing at Publpuhl is reported. The first stone assayed yielded, It Is sald,2Boz of gold per ton, and a party of several penons then went out to the field and broke down a reef, finding nice gold-bearing stone. The claim is next to the prospectors'. Shares In the Alameda have rapidly risen in price.
