OPOSSUMS.
Mr Thomas Mackenzie, M.H.R., has handed us the following correspondence in- connection with the question of liberating opossums in New Zealand. Some time ago he asked the Colonial Secretary to obtain information from the Governments of the varions colonies upon the subject, and these letters are the result : —
