BULBS AND REGULATIONS. 1 . Nominations for Riversdale Distriot Handicap, Waimea Plains Oup Handicap, Handicap Time Trot, Mandeville Handioap, and Flying Stakes Handicap , must be with the Seoretary, Gee's Hotel, Riveradale, before 8p m on 1 UESDAY, 18th November ; and acceptances for all handicaps, also entries for Maiden Plate, before 8 p.m. on SATURDAY, 13th December. Tbe weights will appear on WEDNESDAY, 3rd December 1890. 2. All sweeps must be paid to the Clerk of the Scales half an hour before the advertised time of starting. 3. All entries and acceptances muat be in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, and contain entranoe money, description, pedigree, and age of horses, and colours to be worn by riders. A penalty of £2 will be enforced for riding in wroDg colours. 4. In the event of anyone entering a protest the sum of S3 must be lodged with the Secretary before suchprotest ii considered, this sum to be forfeited to the funds of the Olub should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. 5. All disputes, claims, and objections arising out of racing shall be deoided by the Stewards, orwhoever they may appoint. Their decision on all points in connection with the carrying out of the programme shall be final. Entries received on these conditions only. 6. All horses starting in races must -wear numbered taddle cloth*, to be supplied by the Olub. 7. Entries by telegram must be confirmed by writing at the earliest possible opportunity. 8. No nomination or acceptance will be received on anj pretence whatever unless accompanied by the necessary amount in cash. (The attention of owners is particularly called to this regulation.) 9. Kvery trainer must have hit horee at the post ready to start at the time appointed, and every jockey is to be there ready to start at that time. 10. No qualification fee required. 11. Five per cent, will be deducted from all winnings towards expenses of tbe ccuree. 12. No entry will be received under any pretence whatever after the hour named. 13. All races (except Trotting Race) wilt be run under the " Ruleß of Racing." 14. Trotting Race to be run under the New Zealand Trotting Association's Rules. 15.
