They were out fishing, and in attempting to oross near the mouth of the river got into the current and were swepb out into the breakers and drowned. The bodies were recovered on Monday. It appears that the boa* drifted into tho breakers at the mouth of the river, and the men, seeing their danger, jumped our, with the intention of swimming ashore, and were drowned. The river was in flood, and where the heavy flood of water met the easterly sea the waves were raised to a great height, and no boat could live in such a sea. Immediately the men left the boat it capsized, and drift-, d out to sea The boat was made of can vac, and w*s hardly fit to cross the river in, far less stand the buffetings of tbfl flea. An inquest was beld on Monday, the verdict being " Accidental death."
