November 3.— On Wednesday last addresses were given by the Rev«. Birks and Baumber in the Wesjleyan Church. Owing to dashing .with other meetings, the attendance was small to what it would otherwise have been. Mr Birks started operations with a very good address, trettiDg upon the growth of the Methodist body. Mr Banmber followed In the same strain. At the close of this meeting the utual quarterly meeting, of office-bearers took place (Mr Bautnber in the, chair), when business of a private nature was eniered into.
