DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS.
Weekly Kepokt. Wbight, Stephenßon, XSD Co. report as follows . - Por Saturday's sale a goodly number of horses was entered, but nothing very special in quality, either as regards draughts or light barneis sorts. We are unable, therefore to record any transactions at high prices, but a very fair amount of business was done (32 horses were sold) at quotations. First-class carriage horses, and alto good buggy and saddle hor«es are still wanted; but to oommand extreme prices they must be really superior, upstanding, and wellbred animals, and they must, above all, be stylish moveis. There is also an occasional inquiry for young heavy draught geldings, sound and staunch. We quote as tolloivs:— Heally first-class heavy draught geldings, £22 to £27 ; msdium draught horses, £14 to £20 ; light and aged draught horses, £7 to £12 ; good spring carters, £10 to £15 ; well-in.>tohed carriage pairs, £40 to £50; wellmatcai'd buggy pairs, £30 to £10 : first-olaea hunters, £20 to £30.
