Millers' lines have ruled during the week as follows :— Flour, £8 6s to £8 15s per ton ; oatmeal. £8 10s per ton { ohaft, 40b to 45b per ton ; bran, £3 per ton : pollard, £4 per ton ; pearl barley, £16 10s per ton. More business is passing in oornsaoks and ' woolpaoks. Some considerable purchases have been made of the former to hold for next season, and for both Hneß advanced prices are sought. We understand that Messrs Bobert Anderson and Co. have accepted a tender from Messn Thomas Robinson and Son, the well-known milling enginenrs ; of Kochdale, for the erection of a complete roller ! plant of the latest type in their Manor place mills. The prospectus of the Canterbury Farmers Oooperai ive Fire and Marine Insurance Association is advertised, with a capital of £100,000, in £5 shares. The provisional directors are directors of the Christohuroh and Timaru Farmers' Co-operative AssociaMessrs Donald Stronaoh and Son's report of stock sold at Burnslde market on the 13th was aooldentally omitted from the general report published last week. The sales of that firm were:— bheep: On account of Mr Watson Shennan (Conical Hills station), 91 at 14a to 16s 6d, 29 afc 16s ; Mr J. Gow, 38 at 15s ; Mr Alexander Douglas, 32 at 15s. Cattle 15 head on aocount of Mr Wm. Shand (Keith Hall), and 36 he-»d for Mr Thomas Godfrey at quotations. MrW. Quln, of Tapanui, reports the sale of 1400 acres of the Brooksdale estate at an average of £6 per acre. Messrs J. A.
