VETERINARY QUERIES.

Put tho animal in a clean, comfortable stable, change his food, administer 4dr Rloea, aud use the following lotion to his heels j— Sulphate of zino, 6dr ; acetate of lead, loz ; water. 1 pint ; applied once'a day. (3) One pound phosphorous to 1001b of oats and lOgaljof water is tbe strength generally used for rabbit poison. It may bo prepared in an iron cask made specially for the purpose, and whioh may be procured at any ironmonger's, 'l he phosphorlsed grain is ready for use 21 hours after mixing.
