A STRIKE AT GREYMOUTH. Wellington, July 2.
A private telegram from Greymouth received in town to-day states that the men have definitely declined to accept the reduction in wageß submitted by the mine manager of the Grey Valley Coal Company, and have anticipated the threatened lock-out by going out on Btrike.
