WINNERS OF THREE-MILE TROTS.
It will be observed that half of the 30 winners have won from starts of 50sec or more. And if we search the returns of results in two-mile trots a similar state of things is discovered ; that is, only once out of 18 titues has a scratch horse been returned a winner, the greater number of these events having been taken by horses that were granted a lead of from 30seo and upwards.
