When joined to some little verb It now denotes the future tense. For second a verb and pronoun bind, A sentence complete fcho' but two words ; 'Tis used by men of every kind, As much by beggars as by lords. Now join them both and write them down, And verbs and pronoun both have fled ; You find naught but a simple noun— The name of one who armies led And battles fought and won a crown, Both glory great and much renown. 5256.
