[Answered by a qualified Veterinary Surgeon. — Queries must be received by Monday night to ensure reply in the succeeding issue.] Hawba.—When dogs which have been subjected tohard work get up in yors, they are liable to tumors which are apt to l« come malignant, and gSbence incurable. Admirrit! v Bgrs iodide potassium once or twice a day in a bit of meat, and apply a little iodine ointment occasionally to the tumour. Bannookbuhn.—Rub in green iodide of mercury ointment for half*an hour. If the swelling is not gone when the "skin is healed, repeat in a fortnight. A. H. H.—Apply iodine ointment rubbed in with smart friction—viz, loz iodine, loz iodide potassium, loz vaseline, and repeat if necessary.
