BALD HILL FLAT.

September 9.— The largo halos round the eun and moon on Saturday afternoon and night were the subject of general comment. Perhaps the violent wind which is blowing at the present time has some connection with the halos. The wind is blowing as hard as we have had it this winter — shifting moderately-sized pebbles and blowing in cracked panes of glass. The Alexandba Dredge.— The people of Alexandra are said to be going to make another attempt at unearthing their dredge. The Molyneux is very nearly up to its old level, and those who were trying to wrest the precious metal from its resting place have returned to their homes.

Agricultural.— The farmers are still busy Bowing, &c.
