The minutes of the previous meeting were read and 'confirmed. The, clerk reported theresulfi of; the; 'elebtipn's as follows i-West-Tai6ri subdiviuon.-r Peter Grant, Jamas Shand; James Alfa'ri. I Henley. , shbdlvlslon— John Stevenson. 'Alexander Fleming,and David T. Shand. Mr 'Pete* Granß ws^b unani-,. mously re-elected chairman.' Mr John Srant waf, reappointed clerk and collector, and Mr Petier Grant; ' waf reappointed treasurer. , A letter was [received < from 1 Mr Edward Joel, solicitor, claiming, ohfcehalf of Mr B. Marshall; Henley, £12 damages for r iniuri«o to his horse by going through a. hridge. . The Olerk was > instructed to reply that the board was not ! lfable, the bridge being a- private one on? private property, and not on a road line.
