Draughts at Wyndham.
rZThe annual meeting of the Wyndham Chess and Draughts Club was held on the 4th inst., when there was a good attendance of members-. The number of members during the past season was 31. Three matches were played against other clubs— viz., two against Edendale, which resulted in a win for each club, and one against Mataura, which was won by Wyndham. The following were elected office-bearers for the ensuing year :— President, Mr J. M'Lauchlin ; vice-president, Mr J. Lumsden; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. Harming (re-elected); match committee, Measrs Kidd, Maben. and Pioken. Trophies to be played for were presented to the club by Messrs W. Stirling and J. Oughton. Votes of thanks were
