Austrian and Hungarian journals sharply resent the hectoring tone of the German press.
Paris, December 1
M. de Freycinet, French Minister of War, will ask the Chamber of Deputies to vote an immediate war credit of 400 million francs.
Berlin, November 28
The German press evidence anxiety at the growing strength of parties hostile to Germany at Vienna. It fears that this will affect the Triple Alliance. There has been friction lately between Prince Reuss, Gorman Ambassador at "Vienna, and Count Taaue, President of the Austrian Ministerial Counoil. The quarrel is attracting some attention in diplomatic oircles.
Berlin, December 1
The bitterness displayed by the Austrian and German press towards France has led to official interference, and tbe tone is now much calmer. A French ex-attache lias been expelled from Alsace. St. Petersburg, December 3. The Russian Government ai*e preparing to build a bridge across the Biver Danube.
It has been decided to victual the city of Warsaw for 56,000 people, exclusive of the garrison. Residents will be expected to remain in case of war.
Diplomatic, relations between Russia and Persia are strained, owing, it is said, to Ihe ascendancy of English influence in the latter oountry.
Constantinople. November 28. The Sultan has declined to receive Prince Ferdinand of Bulgaria.

Eumours are current to the effect that t he French are secretly erecting an important fort at Savoy, outside the neutral zone of the Franco-Italian frontier.
