'If the Dunedin storekeepers do not look .better after the interests of the Peninsula dairy farmers their produce will be diverted from its present channel altogether. Mining.— Two experts wer& down hera last week inspecting nil the reefs known to exist in the district. I hope their report will be favouraple.when it is published. I trust they will gtvo a full description of each reef, bo that aome idea of tho reeources of the district in this line may bo gained by the public.
