Fbiday, November 2. (Before Mr Warden Carew.) APPLICATION FOB CANCELLATION. Peter Greg'r Cameron applied for cancellation of gold mining leaeo of section 3, block V, Mount. Hyde. Mr Mouat appeared for the applicant mid Mr W. I). Stewart for the lessee, Charles M'Qucen.—ln this previously-heard case the Warden informed the parties that, under the circumstances, the Government would nof. cancel the lease provided the lessee ray's applicant's actual expenses. Preservation Inlet, Philip Payn and Patrick Collins;. for a water raw, 40 chains in length, at Preservation Inlet, John Bell and James Laverfcy; for a water race, 1{ mile in length, on blocks IV and V. Mount Hyde, Robert Lewis ai-d Arthur Lewis. Wm. Docherfc- 'a application for a license to search for minerals over 610 acres in Dusliy Sound was granted for 12 months APPLICATIONS WITHDBAWN.
