Fbiday, November 2. (Before Mr Warden Carew.) APPLICATION FOB CANCELLATION. Peter Greg'r Cameron applied for cancellation of gold mining leaeo of section 3, block V, Mount. Hyde. Mr Mouat appeared for the applicant mid Mr W. I). Stewart for the lessee, Charles M'Qucen.—ln this previously-heard case the Warden informed the parties that, under the circumstances, the Government would nof. cancel the lease provided the lessee ray's applicant's actual expenses. APPLICATIONS GRANTED. The following unopposed applications were granted for a term of 15 years:—For a watpr race, f>o chains in lenntli, at. Preservation Inlet, Philip Payn and Patrick Collins;. for a water raw, 40 chains in length, at Preservation Inlet, John Bell and James Laverfcy; for a water race, 1{ mile in length, on blocks IV and V. Mount Hyde, Robert Lewis ai-d Arthur Lewis. Wm. Docherfc- 'a application for a license to search for minerals over 610 acres in Dusliy Sound was granted for 12 months APPLICATIONS WITHDBAWN. The applications of the following persons were withdrawn -.—Peter Gregor Cameron and John Bluir Cros>an, for a water rare, !£ mile in length, in block IV, Mount Ify<*e; same parties, for a dam in Game Cock Valley; ltobert Lewis and Arthur Lewis, for a dam on section 34, block IV, Mount Hyde. APPLICATION BEFUSED. Thh application of James Butler for a license (o search for antimony over 200 acres of mining resen 9, block I, Silver Peaks, was refused. I
