Wheat : Millers here are operating very sparingly, but prices in tfio North are well maintained. Best Tuscans, 3s lid to 4s ; straw and velvets, 3s lOd to 3s lid ; medium, 3s 5d to 3s 7d ; inferior, 3s 3d to 3s 4d. Fowls' wheat : In fair demand. Good whole, 33 to 3s 2d ; medium, 2s 8d to 2s lOd ; inferior, 2s 6d. Barley : Very little doing and prices are nominal. Best malting, 3s 8d to 4s 2d ; milling, 3« Ud to 3s 8d ; feed lines, 2s 3d to 2s 9d. Oats i In good demand. All coming forward are easily placed. Best milling, 2s 4d ; bright plump feed, 2s 2d to 2s 3d ; medium, 2s to 2s Id; Inferior, la lOd to la lid. Flour « Timaru roller, £10, f.o.b ; Oamaru, £9 15 a; Dunedin brands, £9 10s ; Southern. £9 to £9 ss. Oatmeal : Long t6n (in bulk), £10 10s ; 25's, £10 10a ; 7's and 14's, £12. Bran, £3 10s, f.o.b. Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. Sharps, £3 10s, fo.b. Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. Potatoes : Best Oamaru, 755 ; Southern, £3 to £3 ss. Pifts : Well fed up to 1801b. 4d to 4jd. Chaff : Heavy oaten (well cut), £3-5s to £3 10s; light, £3 to £3 2s 6d. Turnips, ISs; carrots, 255. Straw, oaten and wheaten, 40s. Hay, oaten, 60s. Hay, clover and ryegrass, 60s. Butter: Salt butter, price nominal, 7£d to 8d I cases and casks extra). Bggs : Plentiful, and are easier ; fresh plentiful. Cheese: Factory, scarce at 6d : farmer*', 4d to 4sd.
