Tongariro, in addition to a large quantity of wool, skins, tallow, and other cargo, has taken in over 19.0U0 carcasses frozen mutton. Since Sunday last, when the Lizzie Ellen went ashore at Fortrose, repeated efforts have been made to get her off , bnt up to Saturday last they proved abortive. We have not heard whether she has been got off since, but it; is to be hoped the enterprisiug owners, Messrs Timpany Brothers, will not lose their smart little craffc.— Mataura Ensign. The Great Eastern, which for upwards of 30 years has been considered the wonder of the maritime world, has made her last voyage and is now in process of being broken up in the River Mersey.
