It would give mo much pleasure could I return double , And save myself aU this additional trouble ; But opponents add bad debts beyond all redemption Compel one to ijll up this claim of exemption ; A.nd what makes the matter no very much worse, I've a wife and three children and no private puree ; So from these simple'facts the collector must see,* He can gather no tax upon income from me.
