DUNEDIN PLUMPTON COURSING MEETING.

The following nominations have been received :—: —

At a meeting of the Dunedin Piumpton Committee held on Monday night, Mr J. Cresswell (of Christchurch) was appoiuted judge, and Mr Thomas Kett (of Milton) slipper. Friday, the 6th inst., was fixed for public trials of the dogs nominated. The Railway department has notified its intention of running excursion trains from Christchurch and Invercargill for this meeting.

The particulars of the forthcoming meeting of the Oamaru Coursing Club appear in our advertising columns. Nominations are due on, the 12th inst. and acceptances on the 17th. An Auckland telegram states that the Auck-> land Coursing Club held a meeting at Papatoitoi on Saturday. The All-aged gtakf s was won by W. A. Fenton's Sailor Boy, Master Pat being runner-up. Mr T. Owen's Blue Cap won the Derby, beating Trident in the fiual round. Mr Fentou's Ruby proved victorious in the Oaks, the runner-up being Little Nell.
