WHOLESALE KKPORT.

Wheat market without alteration. Best Northern samples sell from 3s Id to 3s 2d ; extra good, 3s 3d ; Southern samples, 2s lOd to 3s ; medium milling neglected ; Northern broken for milling, 2s 6d ; fowls' wheat in good demand— best whole, 2s 3d to 2s sd; broken, Is lOd to 2s. Barley : No alteration since last report ; the market is sluggish since maltsters are stocked. Prices range from 3s lOd to 4s 2d ; milling. 3s 2d to 3* 6d ; feed, 2s to 2s 6d. Oats : The demand continues good, and all coming forward are easily placed : Prime milling, Is 9d to Is 9£d ; bright plump feed, Is 8d tols9d; medium, l 6 6§d to Is 7£d; interior, Is 3d to l 8 sd. Flour : Timaru roller. £8 5s ; 50's, £9, f.0.b. ; Oamaru and town brands, £7 155 ; 50's, £8 ss, in Dunedin ; Southern stone, £7 10s ; 50's, £8, in Dunedin. Oatmeal : Long ton in bulk. £8 ss, f.0.b.; in 25*8, £8 5s ; in 7's and 1-I's, £10 (both packed in sacks). Brau: £3 53, f.o.b. Dunedin; £3 f.o.b. Oamaru and Timaru. Sharps: £3 10s f.o.b Dunedin ; £3 os, f.o.b. Oamaru and Timnru. Potatoes : Northern Derwents in short supply, 55s to 57s 6d; kidney for seed,?7os to 80s. Pigs : Well fed farmers' lots,4d to 4jd, up to 1801b. Chaff, oaten : Well cut, ck-an, and heavy, 50s to 555 ; straw chaff, 355. Carrots, red and white, 355. Turnips: Swedes, 15s; Green tops, 13s. M>alseeds, 3s. Black dust, 9d per bag. Straw, oaten and whe-tf.en, 355. Hay, oaten, 60s. Hay, clover and ryegrass, 60s. Butter : The market is getting pretty bare of'prime salt, 9d (kegs extra) ; Cheese : Akaros, 4d ; loaves. 4§d ; local. 3^d. Hams and bacon : 8d to 9d for former, 6|d to 7d for rolls and flitches. Honey, 4d per lb (kegs extra). Grass Seeds : Eyegrass with same inquiry, 2s to 2s 5d for farmers' lo' s ; 2s 8d to 3s for machine dressed. Cocksfoot : We placed several lines at 3fd for really good (sacks extra).
