SALE OF CORPORATION LEASES.
Mr R. B. Martin offered for sale, by auction, on Saturday afternoon a number of corporation leases. There was a good attendance, and tho bidding in many cases was very spirited. The following leaseholds were disposed of : —
Allotment 5, part 30. 34, block 6. Manse street, 33ft 7in frontage; upset, 17s 6d per foot.— Purchased by Messrs Brown, Mwing, and Co., at 263. Allotment 1, Bectlon 20, block 15, Stunrfc street 68ft frontage ; upset, 10s per foot.— D. H. Hastings (as agent), at 14s per foot. Allotment 2 J, Maclaggan street, 1 rood each; upset. £5 per annum. -T. S. Guitani, at upset; and section 26, in the same block, by W. Todd, at the upset.
Allotment 1, section 6, block 7, South Dunediu.— T. Heffernan, at upset of £1 per annum. Allotment 3, section 6, block 7, ditto.— J. G. Gray, at £ l 4s per annum. Allotment 7, ditto.— H.
