STAMPING OUT PLEURO-PNEUMONIA.

Now -that the Government, after years of persuasion, have commenced to stamp out pleuro-pneumonia by ordering the slaughter of every diseased animal and of every animal which has been in contact with a diseased one, it is exasperating to find objections raised on the ground of the alleged efficacy of inoculation to avert the disease. Inoculation as a preventive to lung disease is a dead failure, as Dutch and Australian experience proves.
