Sydney, March 10.

The cricket match between Lillywhite'a team and the Australian Eleven was resumed to-day. The Australians, who on Friday had lost five wickets for 55, were all disposed of for 190. Blackham scored 97, Jones' 35,M'Donnell 15. Lohmann and Treston cac'hf secured four wickets. In their second innings the Englishmen have lost one wicket for 101. Shrewsbury (nob out), 53 ; Briggs (not out), 46. There was a fair attendance of the public, and the weather was fine. The batting of the Australians was weak, but the Englishmen fielded very smartly. March 12. The cricket match Lillywhite's v. Australian Eleven was resumed to-day. The former have made 255 for six wicketsShrewsbury being not out with 120, Briggs 54, Lohmann 39. Lillywhite's team at the conclusion of the day's play had lost eight wickets for 355, Shrewsbury was not out with 283, Smith 40. Melbourne, March 10. In the match between a Victorian eleven and Vernon's team the latter made 130. Vernon scored 39 and Bowden 20. The Victorians scored 81, of which Bruce made 30. The match Vernon's team v. a Victorian Eleven was continued to-day. The Englishmen in their second innings have lost eight; wickets for 347. Read is not out with 142. Stoddart made 75, Abel 43, Peel 30.
