Berlin, March 13. The sympathy shown by Austria on the occasion of the Emperor William's death has evoked a warm pledge of friendship from Prince Bismarck. Prince Bismarck addressed a letter to Count Kalnoky, Austrian Minister for Foreign Affairs, expressing the thanks of the Germans for the sympathy of Austria, and stating that the friendship between the two nations was indissoluble. Count Kalnoky has forwarded a cordial reply to Prince Bismarck's letter. London, March 14. The Standard states that Eussia is preparing to intervene in Bulgarian affairs, and with this object she is massing her troops in Bessarabia, and will enter Bulgaria by ascending the Danube. Sofia, March 13. It has been decided that no reply shall be sent to the Note forwarded by the Porte that the election of Prince Ferdinand to the Bulgarian Throne is illegal. Rome, March 13. In the House of Deputies Premier Crispi, in the course of a speech on the Bulgarian situation, said that Italy's policy in respect to Bulgaria is opposed to the view recently expressed by Germany in endorsing the demand for the deposition of Prince Ferdinand
