J K. S.— Neglecting the wound on your horse at litst was not commendable, and the remedial means afterwards applied were unsuitable. Wash off your former application and sponge the wound thrice daily with the following lotion: Snlphate of zinc, loz; acetate of lead, loz; strong solution of oak bark, one quart ; and shako the bottle before using.
