THE LABOUR MARKET.

Mr Skenk reports under date March 13 :— Harvest work is nearly done, and men are already flocking back to town, where there is no work to be got-. Rabbiting will soon be on the cards again, otherwise the outlook is black enough. Every Melbourne boat is packed with our best young people, away to try for better times. It is to be hoped the day is not far distant when we Bhall be able to write more cheerfully. Couples and dairy people are most wanted now. Wages same as last week's quotations.
