Cross.— On February 28, at his parents' residence, 12 Peterborough street, Christchurch, Robert John, third and beloved son of Frederick and Elizabeth Cross ; aged 10 years. His end was peace. Leyden.— Ou the iind March, at Wingatui, I. XLevden; aged il years. MiLLXit. -Afc the residence of his sister ' Miss 0. «• Miller, Watei-of-Leith), Hubert Miller, J.P., <« Ov-ako, O.tlins, alter a lingering illness; aged ••» NASir.— On, the 27th February, at her parents residence, Wethersrones. Fanny, stcond daughter ot Michael and Mary Nash, in her 21th year. Deeply regretted.
Major Jervois, private secrotary to his Excellency the Governor, is about to .resign that position, being required by the rules of the service to rejoin his corps, the Royal Engineers, >n which he holds the rank of captain.
