Reid was urged to prepare a history of tho early Maori ministers. The Rev. P. W. Fairclough was appointed conference lecturer. The board of examiners were reappointed, with the Rev. J. H. Simmonds as general secretary. Arrangements were made for the ordination of the Rev. W. Warena at Auckland. A pastoral address was read by the Rev. W. Baumber and adopted. Tho cordial thanks of the conference were given to the issistant-secretary, hosts, precentor, ministers, the officials of circuit, and to the editor of " New Zealand Methodist," the conference closing at noon.
