Lord Salisbury was exhibited'as a yearling at Ayr show in May 1876, and won first prize; at Ardrossan he won fust, prize; at Kilmarnock, in 1877, when a two-year-old, he won first pri«e, with raedal for best horse in the yard. At Dairy, in 1877. he won first prize ; at Ayr in May 1877, first prize : -.t Glasgow, in May 1877, first prize; at the .Koyfti English, Liverpool, July 1877, first prize; at th< Highland Society's show, Edinburgh, July 1877. first prize. He was Bhown at Dunedin in 1881, getting first pr'ze, also first prize and champion norse at Dunedin and l'aieri Shows, in 188: i liS4, 1855, and first prize and champion, Dunediu "i 1886, he being debarred from showing at Taieri show owing to being champion horse three yearv In succession.
