Lord Salisbury was exhibited'as a yearling at Ayr show in May 1876, and won first prize; at Ardrossan he won fust, prize; at Kilmarnock, in 1877, when a two-year-old, he won first pri«e, with raedal for best horse in the yard. At Dairy, in 1877. he won first prize ; at Ayr in May 1877, first prize : -.t Glasgow, in May 1877, first prize; at the .Koyfti English, Liverpool, July 1877, first prize; at th< Highland Society's show, Edinburgh, July 1877. first prize.
