Late wages as follows :— Shepherds, £55 to £60; couples, JBGO to £t!.">; musterers, nil; cooks, 20s; ploughmen, 20s; farm labourers. 15 to I7a 6d ; bushmen, 4s per cord; nnllieis, 255, 20s, 15s, 12s, 10s, and 8s; country girls, '"•<■ Us. and 12s; housekeepers, 15s ; housemaids, Maitusbes, and barmaids, 12s, 15s, and 20s (for c Hintrv hotels).
