A letter was received from Mr W. Y. H. Hall r solicitor, Invercargill, applying on behalf of a , client' for an extended lease of part of run , 301b, Te Anau, for the purpose of erecting an hotel for the accommodation of tourists. — It was decided to ask Mr Hall to- forward a sketch of the area suggested, and thst the application should be granted if arrangements can be made I for the surrendering ©1 the lease. j It was resolved to foreclose the lease of the coal pit on run 193, Wendori, and re-offer it for a new lease. Accounts amounting to £82 0s 8d were passed for payment;.
