This fine problem has appeared in the Weekly World, U.S.A. Many apparent solutions have been sent in, but no sound one has been forwarded. Wo have pleasure in reproducing ifc in our column to give our readers a chance of proving what they ran do. The solution has not appeared, in print yet, bub we are, through the courtesy of one of our friends here, in possession of it. and a difficult thing it is too. It has puzzled many good American analyst.3. We will give a copy of the "Will-o'-the-wisp." by Messrs Lrggefcfc and Gardner, for every complete and cbrrect solution posted on or before Septi-mbcr 12.
