THE SYDNEY MARKETS.
Messrs Hakrison, Jones, and Devlin report under date Sydney, July 19 : —
Since writing you on the 11th inst. we have pleasure in noting a steady improvement in the den and for teed grains, which is chiefly brought about by the very small arrivals of maize, the consignments to band during the past week being far below the average. The following are the latest ruling quotations ■■— Oats : Bright and heavy, 2s Id to 2s 3d ; dark and medium, Is 9d to Is lid ; inferior, from Is Bd. Wheat •. Prime New South Wales, 4b Id to 4s 2d ; cblckfeed, 2s 8d to 3s. Maize ; Prime, 3s 4d to 3s 6d ; medium, 2s 9d to 3s. Bran,' B|d to ' 9d. Pollard, B£d to 9d. Oatmeal: New Zealand, £13 to £14. .
