THE SAN FRANCISCO MAIL.

Auckland, July 22.

Tho Alameda, from San Francisco, arrived at 4 o'clock. Passengers : For Auckland— A. Costabie, wife and 3 children, R. Pharazyn, Mrs Stone, 2 children and maid, T. Scott, Miss Head, C. D. Drake, Mrs Organ, W. S. Galloway ; and 6 steerage. For Sydney— 4o saloon and 26 steerage. Among the passengers are the Bishop or" Sydney, Hon. A. Coote; and from Auckland, Genera] Schaw and Major Dane. The vessel had to contend against a heavy N.W. gale lasting 40 hours. The Alameda sails for Sydney early to-morrow morning.
