TRIUMPH OATS.
THIS New Variety of OATS makes such an extraordinary growth that our Old Varieties, in comparison, appear dwarfish. I Looking at the long, broad leaves, you seem to look upon a field of Indian corn rather than Oats until the appearance of ears removes all i>doubt. It is evident that such Oats require more room for development than ordinary kinds, and it should therefore be sown thinner than other kinds. In short then, the TRIUMPH OATS are more productive than other varieties, make long straw, and do not lie down, which advantage alone is of the greatest importance. Seven bushels sown last spring produced 454 bushels. This should be enough to induce anyone interested in Agriculture to try this novelty. I supply true Seed at 5s per bushel. Also, Seedless Gorse, 8s per 100, or £3 per 1000. ROBERT CLEAVE, NURSERYMAN AND SEEDSMAN, 22jy Invekcargill.
